Mid-size Investment Advisory Firm
This well-respected market leader decided to convert from their service-bureau portfolio management system to an in-house third-party application suite.
The project was initiated without the leadership of an experienced project manager, and soon relations between the business users, the project team, and the vendor deteriorated to the point where the firm considered abandoning the effort.
